„This is an egg“ sells either edible or non-edible art objects. What the purchased egg will be is not disclosed. The buyers can decide for themselves whether they want to destroy, eat or collect the egg. Each egg has a similar shape and is made of a different material.

Well, which egg is more valuable to us? The edible egg or the art object? How is the value of art, food and raw materials determined and why do we structure these values hierarchically?
